Daniel Hernandez, Esq. is an Associate Attorney in the Florida Personal Injury Division at RTRLAW.
A proud first-generation Cuban American, Mr. Hernandez is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and is admitted to the U.S. District Courts for both the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. He is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has dedicated his legal career to advocating for personal injury victims throughout Florida.
Mr. Hernandez earned his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Florida International University in 2008. He went on to obtain his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University’s Shepard Broad College of Law in 2012, where he also participated in the Pro Bono Honors Program.
With over 12 years of legal experience, Mr. Hernandez brings a well-rounded background to his personal injury practice, having previously worked in various areas of law including criminal defense, foreclosure defense, immigration, bankruptcy, and first-party property insurance litigation—representing policyholders in disputes against insurance companies.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Daniel met his wife during college, and the two went on to study law together before launching their careers in their respective fields. Outside the office, Daniel enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children, especially out on the water. He’s also an avid fan of all Miami sports teams.
